Abiodun Eniyandunni is a current Master of Fine Arts candidate at Howard University, Washington, DC with specialization in Studio Painting. He studied Arts/Painting at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Nigeria and acquired his Bachelor of Arts at North Carolina Central University, Durham, NC.
Eniyandunni is also a multi-media artist and he has participated in several exhibitions in United States, Portugal, and Nigeria.
Abiodun Eniyandunni concept is based on contemporary art discourses and global issues from culture, heritage, identity, race, and gender. He is using his paintings to reach out to the world about cultural identity and gender discrimination. He wants people to appreciate the context of arts rather than the separation of it due to racial connection of the artist.
Eniyandunni believes that through depth understanding of others social anthropology and religion, we can have a better perspective of their aesthetic philosophy.
